So back in February, me and my friends randomly (i mean we planned it a day before) to go to the Wasai Bedanau,Tutong.

i'm creating this blog post with the hope that after you all read this you would be interested to go there too ( i guess) and make this as your guide

i know you are wondering what is it.so without further a due lets start the trip!

p.s wasai is waterfall

its flooding!

Location : Wasai Bedanau,Kampung Kiudang Mongkom,Tutong,Brunei Darussalam

We Roughly get everyone together at 10am (i'll tell yall its not that easy doing that). since i am from Tutong and i lived not that far from the Wasai bedanau so finding the way is not that difficult for me. there is 8 of us and 4 cars.

the road to the Wasai is not that cooperating with us that day-its flooding.

well, that month it rained quite more often, its a rainy season flood everywhere and that include the road to the Wasai.

3 out of 4 cars manage to go across the flood easily and one of my friend car died in the middle of the flood,so we all have to push it across.

so we all thought that ; thats was the only obstacles...guess what we are wrong!

about 5 minutes of driving from the flood location, there this really steep rocky hill road...its not rocky...its a pebble road if that make sense

since it is raining heavily the night before, the road make it almost impossible to be on the top. a) the road is wet b) the road is made up of pebble looking stones and off course c) its a hill!

2 cars struggles to get on the top,we help them push their cars..peww and unfortunetley i didn't take photos at that time since i was too busy helping them out.

so we passed that obstacles.

after that its kinda a smooth ride and we arrive to the place that's we are suppose to park our cars on. so we do that and pack our stuff and everything.

and then here goes the journey to the actual Wasai, we have to go down on the hill with this stairs and yes it is slippery so be extra careful - you don't wanna get hurt here.

friends going down

on the way down you will see some resting places , you can rest if you want to- take your time. enjoy the green as you go down. the moisture of forest the sound of it.

this found on one of the resting place ceiling...so nope

as you go down further you will started to hear the sound of waterfall ( it will make you excited, lol)

after you reach down you will see a gazebo on the left.

the gazebo

but you wanna go right this time. you will walk across a bridge - yes its slippery with dead leaves so be careful

crossing the bridge

by this time you will already see the waterfall.

the main waterfall

so without any further due,we just jump in!

there's this tree near the pool and there's a rope hanging into it for you to swing!

first impression of the water was a) its cold ( since its a rainy season) b) its deep on the center ( if you can't swim that well, just swim on the edge )

maybe it wasn't that deep on any other month or during rainy seasons.

you might think there's only one waterfall but when you look to right, of it you will see another waterfall but not strong and thick flowing like the first one

and i don't have the picture of the other waterfall ( sorry )

we really enjoy the swim,we played swimming race, we play tag and much more

rope swings

enjoying the refreshing water

there's a safety rope

After 1pm or so we stop, all of us are freezing.

we have a drinks and snack for a while, a chit chat and stuff you know. rest for awhile and after that we get dressed and pack our stuff

at this state we are completely tired of swimming and pushing the cars and stuff but here's the sad part

going back up

muscle excercise

climbing the stairs.

i am dying.

but nevertheless we all manage to get to the top - each one suffocating.

we rest on one of the resting place before going back - drinking and eating flying bread and more chat.

after that we take off, going back is much more easier then coming to the place, it was a smooth ride.

one of the road which earlier is flooded is now has drained,it seems much more quicker then when we are going there.

after that we went to Seri Kenangan Beach. but i'm not going to tell that here.

i hope you all enjoy my journey as well as i did and i hope that if you don't know nothing about this Wasai Bedanau before knows it after reading this or some of you decide to go here.it might be tiring and such but in my opinion its worth it; worth every single minute ; i'm exercising ( i mean all of those pushing and walking must have burn calories), i'm engaging with my friends that strengthen our bonds and i'm enjoying the nature rather than enjoying on something that human made.

finally i wanna say thanks for having time to read this. hope you have a nice day.
